Candlelight

The structure before me,
Tall and proud,
Slowly melts before my eyes,
Slowly, slowly.
It harnesses all light,
Slowly, slowly
And when it is nothing more than mere wax,
It dies.
It exhales all of it`s life into the darkness
In one single second,
Slowly, slowly.
