Everyday is a new struggle
Everyday a new tear shed
Everyday a strong soul has his eyes to the sky
This battle is not yet won
Everyday there is still has hope
Each day is one day stronger
Each day is one struggle past
Everyday is not without a smile
Everyday you see a bit more of the horizon than the last
For he keeps walking
And we keep walking by his side
Our goal is always in sight
And we’ll get there
Together
We’ll be true
We’ll stand through
We see the sunlight
And we’ll get there

This poem is dedicated to my cousin, Easton, who has Hodgekin's lymphoma cancer, and is one of the strongest people I have ever met. We love you, Easton! We'll keep going, together.
