Scar/r/ed

Where is the line between
“scared”
and
“scarred”?

Surely there's more than
one
single
“r”!

Does “scared” become “scarred” when
fear
becomes
real?

Or does “scarred” become “scared”once
our
wounds
heal?

What happens when death
comes
into
play?

It there someone who
can
truly
say?

Can one really be scarred with no
time
to
scab?

“R” can't be the difference between
fright
and
stab!

Nice  idea, put into the wrong words. You could do better. (Not that I could, but I think that if you can come up with a nice idea like that, you can write a nice poem too. :) )
