I stand alone
Empty hearted
Empty mind
A memory of a guy who was a waste of time

I hold no grudge
And i do not hate
Because getting hurt
Was my mistake

A lesson to remember
A lesson to learn
Mess with fire
and will surely get burned
I wanted to swim without getting wet
a decision I'll surely regret

"A lesson to remember A lesson to learn Mess with fire and will surely get burned," I love this line! First off This is a great poem. It's sad but you did a awesome job so I feel happy. It was dipression you were writing about. You were writing about your mistake about trusting him and that has got me loving this poem. I screw up... Alot! So usually when I read poems about Screwing up I tend not to agree with them because I know how it feels, but this is like how my mind works. Ths one poem explains me.lol Awesome job. It's sad but you deserve five stars.
