Upon the shoulders of giants
The sky is at my fingertips
Everything is what I see
The goings on of the world
The imperfection

I see how people frantically search for the meaning of life
Without really caring for life itself
How people see only their own need
Forgetting others in their quest of self fulfillment
The narrow focus of selfishness

People live and thrive
While others struggle and pray for help that never comes
The loss of faith
The dependence that never truly satisfies
And the power a single person has

But never truly realizes
Never tries
Simply skates along
Content to watch
Silently forgotten in the rush of life
