Stressed

Stressed Out
Stressed out, Stretched In
I feel pulled in a million directions
Pull
I pull and I push
Push
I am pushing myself until I can't push anymore
Anymore
I can't do this anymore
Can't
I can't waste time, I can't get mad, I can't run away, I can't do this, I can't do that
This
I can't do this anymore
Wait
I already said that
Said
I say I am tired, I say I am done, I say I am
Stressed

The author's comments:
I wrote this because I felt like many teens feel the same way I do right now, stressed out. We have all these new responsibilities and so much is expected from us. I hope that someone will relate to this poem and understand it is alright to feel like the world is pressing in on them sometimes, but that talking or writing about it is the best way to let your feelings go.

you simply expressed the way so many teens are feeling, and in such a great way. the repetitive words really contributed to the emphasis on your purpose. great poem! :)
