Fruity Desire

Polished and sweet,
red ripe to pick,
What a treat,
that juice so slick

Hard it may be,
but when you bite,
Oh, it's hard not to see,
that it is such a delight

Perfect as a snack,
fresh from the tree,
Vitamin-packed,
and oh-so-healthy

Bitten to the very core,
causing seeds to plop down
Oh, I want more!
I say with a frown
