As I look back and I think,
I realize you're not who I thought you were and I'm relieved that I didn't fall for you or give you my all, but I realize that I did give you more than enough, and I gave you just enough to hurt me and just enough to show me who you really are

The author's comments:
This poem is about a guy that I was falling for and I really liked... He passed off the thought that he liked me a lot also. But behind my back he was with another girl and was leading me on and I chose not to listen the first time to people. But he showed me just enough to not want him.
