Your Eyes
Your eyes.
Your stupid eyes.
They bring pain to my soul.
With every blink,
I am tormented
With every movement,
I am torn apart.
But you don’t know.
You don’t know me.
You don’t know the pain you cause me.
I’m just a little girl
Just another person in this world.
I sit where you sit.
I breathe the same air you breathe.
I walk where you walk.
Still, you don’t know me.
I am grieved,
Knowing the fact that you will never be mine.
I will never be yours.
But I bear the pain.
I suck it up.
Because in my dreams,
Even if you torment me,
You are my blissful escape.
I can escape into your eyes.
Your eyes.
Your stupid eyes.
