Crash and Burn

"Dream big," they told me, "even if you miss you'll land among the stars."

And so i did,

I dreamed of a life with you and a reason for you to love me, but you never did.

I didn't land among the stars,

I crashed and burned.

Rather than shooting toward the sky, I buried myself deeper.

I convinced myself to believe that maybe you would want to be with me.

But I was wrong,

and now you are the only one who can unbury me,

help me make my way to the stars.

You are the only one who can turn me around again,

but you wont,

You never will,

You'll leave me on my own,

to fend for myself

try to repair the damage that you caused,

since because of you, I crashed and burned ,

and now since you wont help,

there is no way out.
