the steel mesh of the chrome faucet
Glistens
with a transparent film

reluctantly, painfully, it
Bulges
Swells
like a opalescent balloon

the gleaming pendant
Waits
Tremulously
clinging to the mesh

suddenly, it
Releases
itself - Plop!
a Scintillation
disturbs the still darkness below
