Why don't you understand
why don't you see
these days when alone I withstand,
are breaking me?
I'm not a doll you can dress up
that just sits and waits and twiddles her toes
for the day when thoughts of me overfill your cup
and you'll realize I'm a girl that knows
when she's not important to you.
