My Grandpa

My grandpa is the best
He’s always got a smile
He’s always on the go and never still at all
He stands so tall and straight and never loses faith
He’s stubborn as a mule, but never is he a fool
He stands his ground when something isn’t right
Never was there a time at all when he didn’t say “it will be alright”
We buried him a year ago, and still his memories have stayed
And I can’t wait till I can see my grandpa once again
