Summer Feeling

The cold water rushes
in between my toes.
The water falls up and through
The air into an icy cascade,
reaching the thirsty grass below.
The Sun reaches the highest point in the sky
forcing its rays onto the recipients below.
The birds rest on the balcony,
taking a break from the hot, sticky feeling.
The feeling of summer.
