Sleeping soundly-
listen to the cold damp rain
trickle down the window at night-
be a dear and sing me a rhyme
to get my heartbeat flowing
Lace your arms around me
and lay your lips upon my cheek-
together we'll travel the world-
wake me from a does of ether
so I can watch the sunrise.
I left a letter on your nightstand
and sealed it with a kiss -red velvet stain-
please tell me you like it-
love me with the love that was
written by a pen.
