In this place of blackness and gray,

of hopelessness,

and loneliness,

and forsaken love.
This place is a wonderland.

My wonderland.
Haunted by unseen dangers.
Cloaked in darkness.
I am only a visitor
in this place.
this strange, beautiful place.

The author's comments:
This is my favorite part of a longer poem that i wrote recently. It is talking about how some thing can be so terrifying beautiful that all you want to do is sit and stare at it. I hope this invokes dull and colorless but absolutely beautiful images in your mind.
