Killer Silence

The silence is soft,
Padding me,
Coating me,
Wrapping me in fluffy quiet,
Like a big winter jacket,
A jacket,
I would rather throw away none the less,
I am suffocating in it's raucous lack of a cacophony,
My airways stifled in the heavy quiet,
Like swallowing a cotton ball,
On a blistering hot day,
I choke,
Silently.
