Favorite Quote:
"We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are---
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. "

Tennyson

Watch me dance
To the back of your brain, and to the whites of your eyes.
Hear me scream
Like the moan of the ocean, and the ghosts of the night.
I will fly in the clouds of temptation for the first time.
Suffocate me to keep this alive.
I am at war with the heat that can burn through its time.
That glistens and wails
That replaces a ring,
That tiny flame that destroys everything..

This poem was originally about the element of fire but evolved into something more complex. Hope you enjoy it! :)
