"The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be only the beginning." -Ivy Baker Priest

Blue is the sky and clouds
Uniting all the earth
Blue is the ocean and a sailboat
Parked in its large berth

Blue is the loyalty inside us
That makes us bold and true
Loyalty to friends and family binds us
Like continents joined by ocean blue

You’ll find blue often in the forest
Shimmering on a blue bird’s feather
Blue is the shadow left by a storm-
The fingerprint of angry weather
Although it can bring awful damage
Blue is the life that holds earth together

Can you imagine living on a
Beautiful mountain lake?
Blue is always present there
Like the blue tint on a snow flake

Blue is a thin wisp of memory
Laden with mingled emotions;
Blue is the spirit within us-
Calm, like a clear sky, yet wild, like oceans

I love the color blue. It has always inspired me. I see it everywhere, always meaning something different. This poem is just some examples of what comes to my mind when I think of the color blue.
