So I get it Now,
So I get it now…
We fall in love just to become strangers,
We tell our friends our secrets so they can use them against us later,
We lie to our parents for a little more freedom,
Find out you’re talking trash and then you go beat ‘em,
Say one thing…but really mean another,
Blame every bad thing in your life on your mother,
We show it all off so we get called names,
Not caring we labeled ourselves and we’re put to shame,
People aren’t nice to you so you won’t be nice either,
Boys have sex with their girl and then go and leave her,
We put school aside until we get F’s,
We’ll hit that bowl till we’re out of breath,
We know and don’t care that we’re not 21,
Whats so wrong about having some fun?
We all brag about that party and share some laughter,
But never does anyone mention the morning after,
We’re all athletes, we’re great at beerpong,
We’re never the first to admit that we’re wrong,
Every little thing in life is about respect,
But not in this life time have we seen it at its best.
