It’s like having a bookmark without a book
Or a
Earring without an ear
Sandwich without bread
A ball without bounce
Fish without water
Chair without legs
Child without imagination
A Rose without petals
Dog without a bark
Fourth of July without fireworks
Or
A mouse without cheese
Hair without a head
Pea without a pod
Light without a light house
Dog without fur
Pen without ink
A word without letters
Butterfly without wings
A car without a license
Cat without kittens
Summer without the sun
Picture without a frame
Children without a mother
A life without difficulties
This is what’s it’s like to be without
You
Nothing seems right
