Canadian
There’s something special about you,
Exactly what I can’t identify,
But my awareness is intensified,
You have something so appealing about you,
Something that puts the smile on my face,
My heart is starting to race.
I wish I could be more like you,
You’re cool as ice,
And tonight you look real nice.
I know girls must say they like you a lot,
And I’m going to be no exception,
When you started to talk, you changed my perception,
Hearing your voice say it,
You made me into a pile of clay,
With that one “eh”.
I knew there was something different,
Something wonderful,
But I didn’t know,
That it was the Canadian in you
