I am Strong

I stand there strong
Head held high
Walking firmly and slowly
There insults cant hurt me
Nothing can
I am strong
I can ignore them
There insults get worse
Im trying to be brave
But my head lowers
And my pace quickens
And I try to escape
Its hard to ignore them
I grit my teeth
And turn around
I set them straight
With a glance
Not a sound
I smile and turn
As I walk off into the night
Head held high
My expression is bright
