My sister

She holds my hand and tells me
‘It’s okay, just do it.’
But I look at her asking why?
She whispers to me ‘trust me…trust me.’
I trust her but for a second, and
She then deceives me.
She does it again and again
And I trust her each time.
I’m tired but I can’t give up on a person
I love; I can’t give up on a person I care for deeply.
She’s not my half but I treat her in that way.
I trust a person who takes away
my people who mean the world to me.
I dislike her but I love her.
Why? Why must I live with this monster that I love?
