Favorite Quote:
"I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is."

I feel it
beneath my bare feet
if I slow enough it enters me
the earth's heartbeat
the world's pulse
resonates through my body
from the core
give me more

I feel it
in the earth's gentle wind
if I stop it frees my spirit
the wandering lives within
the souls of times past
flicker over my skin
from the sky
lift me high

I feel it
trickling down my spine
if I accelerate, I'll miss it
the secret that's all mine
the story of lost life
bleed into my heart
find my soul
seize me whole

The first stanza actually came to me last spring when I was walking on the sidewalk barefoot. It was kind of put on hold until a couple of hours ago when a surge of that indescribable poetic energy hit me and I frantically searched for the document on my PC.
