Oh, the things you do to me.
Call it confusion.
Call it an illusion.
Call it whatever you please.

You give me the strength I need to make it through each day.
Call it tragic.
Call it magic.
Call it whatever you please.

I'll always think of only you when I gaze up at the stars.
Call it new.
Call it true.
Call it whatever you please.

I'll hold your hand to the highest mountain and the lowest valley.
Call it tough.
Call it enough.
Call it whatever you please.

You make me feel like I'm on top of the world.
Call it loud.
Call it proud.
Call it whatever you please.

When I lost my faith, you helped me find it again.
Call it crazy.
Call it hazy.
Call it whatever you please.

You've helped me see the truth within myself.
Call it obsession.
Call it a confession.
Call it whatever you please.

You're always on my mind and forever in my heart.
Call it a new beginning.
Call it never ending.
Call it whatever you please.

The moment you touched my hand, I knew I could touch the sky.
Call it glory.
Call it a story.
Call it whatever you please.

You've taken the wrongs and made them right.
Call it senseless.
Call it relentless.
Call it whatever you please.

Your voice is the sweetest melody I could ever ask to hear.
Call it a dream.
Call it what it seems.
Call it whatever you please.

You rescued me and became my hero.
Call it real.
Call it how I feel.
Call it whatever you please.

You've lifted me up when I couldn't reach.
Call it today.
Call it everyday.
Call it whatever you please.

I may be selfish, but I hope this never ends.
Call it compassion.
Call it passion.
Call it whatever you please.

I'll take whatever you give me and I'll keep it safe.
I'll call it love.
Because this IS what I write of.
And I'll call it whatever I please.

The author's comments:
I wrote this about a guy that I love. And he loves me too. But neither one of us know how to define our relationship. It's mysterious and exciting.
