"We are where we are, but we choose where we go." ~Anonymous

I pour out my soul.
Slicing vein after precious vein
With a blade sharper than any sword
The words bleed
My heart forms tales
Stories from myself
Who knows who will read them?
It matters just
That I write them
That the paper fills
With what is inside me
My eyes well with tears
I don’t try to bridle them
Instead, I let them run down my face
Spilling onto my beautiful words
The ink begins to run
And I say a solemn farewell
For I know this was never to last
But my inner tongue keeps speaking
And my fiery fingers keep burning
I create something magical
Or it creates me
And when I finally finish
Set down my pen
Looking past the tears
I see a black and white blotchy sheet
Illegibly, a Masterpiece
