I want to slip out of this flesh
And unbleach my skin
I want to start afresh
And pull out the pin
I just want to rhyme
Like a piece of poetry
And I wish I dined
With high society
I want to have china-white cheeks
And birdlike bones
I want a conscience of purity
And a trip to Bastogne
I don't want to look in a mirror
And be disappointed
I want to be in love
With the self I'm appointed
