From within my throat comes
Sweet desire
It finally escapes as my words
Catch fire
So long they sat longing to
Be freed
Now they're out, despite
The creed
My words have always been
So true
Now you agree I'm not just
One hue
Many layers make me who
I am
While your one shallow layer is even a sham
Fake! I declare
Your humanity
No that's not it, for that only
Evades me!
Ignorance, your bliss is
Growing strong
I grunt through it now but not
For long!
Can you see now? Those
Once blind
Or does your "life"
Still close your mind?
Rude, this poem
Is not
Merely expressive and
Prejudice-fought.
