"Reality is what you decide it to be"

It seems just yesterday our lives were both intertwined.
It seems like just a day ago we were living life.
But life had time change the winds and blew our current flow,
the streaming memories appear to be the only sense of happiness.
Our first glance caught in a frozen stare as destiny threw us closer.
A song that used to play behind the background of our story,
the beating of the lullaby it plays within my heart.

Were both farther apart then we've ever been
, but I know we watch the same stars.
Reflecting our once smiling faces that keep us both in tuned.
We promised forever, and always shall I keep this between you.
If life had not planned us to meet then why are we in love?
I know we are both fated to be for our bond keeps us strong.
Through struggle and pain the cut knife wounds we learn from our mistakes.
We bleed our sorrow and cry our regrets for we know we must change.

Trying to rewind the notes but our music box is broken.
Piece by piece we bring the tunes that appeared to be lifeless.
Together by hand we share our warmth and place them in sync.
Hoping that in time we shall both make amends,
for we both have made great misconception that have torn us in shreds.
The Shadows lurking haunting us shall soon cease to exist
, extinguishing the burning thoughts of temptation we will resist.

Our souls a mirror of each other we both see right through,
we know each other past and future together we will bloom.
These words that whisper from my lips are never spoken lies
, because the sounds that speak through my voice are truthful as I will never say 'good-bye'.

Wrote this when I meet my bf(i made a lot of poetry when I meet him lol). Hopefully people will understand how much joy he gives me and how much I love him. Maybe others can relate to such young innocent love.
