Hidden behind shadows
is the light that makes them strong
the quiet will behind every hope
thats kept me alive so long
when it all gets stormy
I'll drop the anchor down
keep myself steady and stable
&& when I get home I'll kiss the ground
The wind will not heed
to an old captains cry
they speak the same language
but it also speaks lies
instinct can only get you so far
till you lose all control
you may love the lady of the sea
but she doesn't love you anymore
she whispers from the clouds?
Your time is running out
but the captain will not listen
he will not fall to doubt
his mind is not at ease
his heart & soul is lost
in the waves of her curly hair
&& he doesn't know the cost
the sails whip and tear
the temptress beckons to our captain
he only hears her anger
&& his heart breaking again
She's leading us to our fall
He's falling apart as he makes
his stupid foolish Captains call

I was once told of the beauty of the sea and how it calls to those who journey on it. This was born from a beautiful bond between man & nature.
