There are skeletons in my closet
Some are large and scary
They haunt me, threaten me
To turn me into mockery
Seeking the best of me
There are skeletons in my closet
Some short and weary
Those willing to forgive
Turn the page and forget me
There are skeletons in my closet
Whose spots may seem empty
Dusty from secrecy
Saving me from misery
There are skeletons in your closet
They’re here, they’re shady
But no need to worry
Your secret is safe with me
Because you see those skeletons
You share them all with me
