The mountains border the horizon

the ocean stretches as far as my eye can see.
This desert of sun scorched sky

no clouds to block out the burning sun.
The family I've left behind

hidden by the mountains

drowned by the sea.
I am the last remaining

the last Gunslinger.
I will meet you where the

mountains form the horizon
and the

ocean keeps me cradled in this forgotten desert.

Inspired by Avenge Sevenfolds' "Gunslinger" and "Sons of Anarchy" a TV show on FX. It's a great show.
