Falling in Love with Summer

Every year it happens
After winter heads out
And summer seeps in
I'm caught under sunshine's spell
The day's last longer
The air feels warmer
The sky is a brilliant blue
The whole world seems brighter
The magic of the season works it's way
Laughter rings louder
Good times become better
Love blooms and grows
With a skip in my step
And a smile on my face
I spend countless hours in the sun's company
Letting the spirit of the season carry me away
And I find myself, once again
Falling in love with summer
