They’re sugar sweet, these words dripping off your tongue.
But they’re lies, I know that.
I believe them none the less.
I’d rather you lie your sugar sweet words,
Then say those harsh cruel ones.
I heard what you told him,
But I pretended. I Lied.
Pretend, Ignore, Lie
We both do the same thing
But I like your fake words
And you love my fake smile
We love the fake
And Ignore the Truth
