The color of water, the color of seas
Oh, what I would do to always see
Shining like diamonds,
what precious gold
Can I keep them forever and
never let go?
They are there in the morning
They are there in the night
What I would do to always keep
them in sight?
I would give the world
to always see
what precious eyes
you shine on me.

The author's comments:
This poem is about my mother's eyes. As a single parent, my mother has worked hard everyday for me. She never complained, always kept a positive outlook and sent out only love to others. For her hard work, for her always being there, and for her constant love, I wrote this poem as a small token of my gratitude.
