(even though mondays are too tiring to move your feet)

wallflowering & scrapped
for something new

(for there is something far more exciting in pretending)
new & better

mondays drag on & on
just waiting to close their eyes again

(so they don't have to deal with anything ugly)
they never wake up to see

eyes never opened fully
to see anything other

(because themselves is the most captivating)
than who they want to be
