He's afraid of open water in the dark
He's afraid of embarassment
He's afraid of opening his heart
He's afraid of dissapointment
but most of all he's afraid,
He'll take to long to let her know
and that she wont wait
He's afraid of her letting go
he's afraid of the words he cant say
He's afraid of her pulling away
He's afraid of what everyone else knows
I'm afraid you'll realize its not a rumor,
when people whisper, "He loves her"
