Beats are expression
Some relate to depression
The low and long,
Slow moving and strong.
They keep my mood in tune
They don't stay the same
Anytime it could change
Switch songs, rearrange
Depending on the day
Whether close or away
The beats make life
They follow you always
In the classroom and hallways
Bass down low or bass up high
Beats will calm down when I say goodnight
