I'll Meet You in My Dream
‘Twas a dark and stormy morning
along the south lake shore,
and I, held captive by your love,
Dove into dreamland once more.
For sleep removes the distance,
mind blocks cannot exist.
And I will finally let you in, until I awake, with a twist:
To confront clear reality,
My sinking hand is not from you.
And I could sleep for days on end
Only to return from dreams untrue.
