It is said that everyone has a best friend,
someone who stands out from the rest.
But who needs one best friend,
when they have four?

A best friend is someone who can finish your sentences,
an exact replica of yourself.
Your twin sibling,
just another member of the family;
you’re so close you’re telepathic.

A best friend is someone who keeps things rolling,
adds flavor to the cake,
gives advice when you need it,
and takes advice when they need it.
You always have something fun to do,
even if it’s nothing.

A best friend is someone who likes what you like.
They can always find the perfect thing for you,
and you can always find the perfect thing for them,
because it’s one in the same.
You are matching, yet completely different,
and you aren’t afraid to tell them anything.

A best friend is someone who you can rely on.
They keep you included,
up-to-date,
and feeling special.
They’re always positive,
they make you laugh.

So, I’ll ask again,
who needs one best friend,
when they have four?
