Clouds hovering in the sky
Yet the sunshine breaks out
The feeling of light shining through these dark days
I am not one to judge these feelings though
A storm approaches yet birds still sing
The light shines off the lake, making it look proud
With the ripples in the water moving toward my feet
The wind kisses my face like a wet dog’s nose
My feet in the sand, my head in these clouds
Darkness in my mind, Light in my heart
The feeling of light shining through these dark days
I am not one to judge these feelings though
