Goodbye

I’m not good with goodbyes.
They’re too hard to get over.
It all feels like just a dream.
To look you in the eyes,
And mouthed the words goodbye.
We know what this means.
It’s the end to something old
And a start to something new.
Watching you walk away is the hardest thing to do.
I don’t want to say goodbye, but it’s the end.
