Favorite Quote:
To love is to see perfection in imperfection.

Love becomes a fine line between life and death
It kills you slowly, yet wills you alive
Constantly feeding you your last breath
Infinite poison pumped into willing veins

It kills you slowly, yet wills you alive
Infinite poison pumped into willing veins
A drug you drink from the lips of another
Constantly feeding you your last breath

Infinite poison pumped into willing veins
Constantly feeding you your last breath
A drug you drink from the lips of another
Consequences that rehabilitation can never fix

Constantly giving you your last breath
You accept in bliss, pay the consequences
Consequences rehabilitation can never fix
Broken hearts do not tear themselves apart

You accept in bliss, pay the consequences
Broken hearts do not tear themselves apart
We break ourselves, abuse the bliss
A drug you drink from the lips of another

Broken hearts do not tear themselves apart
Consequences that rehabilitation can never fix
Infinite poison pumped into willing veins
We break ourselves, abuse the bliss

Consequences that rehabilitation can never fix
We break ourselves, abuse the bliss
A drug you drink from the lips of another
Love becomes a fine line between life and death

I am addicted

As an assignment for a creative writing class, we were given a "take off" poem in a similar format with a few line repeating in several stanzas. Those who know me will know what it's about... Those who don't can only guess.
