Traded In
She was my walker, I was the old man slowly making my way around leaning on her
I went, she followed, she was dependable
I came back to find a new wheelchair
New and shiny
I put in less work and got the same out
I traded in my dependable walker for the new chair
The chair was easy to use and didn't have as many issues
I still had my crutch
Maybe not as dependable but it did what I needed it to and I got there quicker
The walker rusted away, sloitary in the back room blocked away from the rest of the world
No one else will ever be able to use this walker because it's been so rusted away
But do I care, no, I just need an easy way to get around
