You would say you love me
but I think you had you fingers crossed every time you said those magical words.
But when I said it, I meant it
but you know what,
I should have kept my mouth shut because my words went in one ear and out the other.
I wish i could erase you from my thoughts, but every time I see you with a girl, my heart starts to ache.
I still wonder what we could have been.
