"One of these days you will meet the right man who will always treat you right.... Yea what a load of crap..." -author unknown

Chains rattle,
each time you draw a breath,
Screams echo,
each time you take a step,
Tears and please,
fall each time no one answers.

Your body walks among the living,
but your soul lives with the dead.

Laughs,
they mock you as you beg,
Pleas,
they always go unanswered,
Whispers,
as you try to remember why.

Why are you here?
What did you do?

Arms,
translucent under the light,
Red,
scars puckered and inflamed,
Memory,
you know what you did,
Questions,
they just don't understand,
Tears,
you wish you could stop,
Faces,
you don't want to see,
Numb,
you don't care anymore.

Why are you here?
You smile.

"I'm not anymore."

We found you this morning,
they just couldn't contain,
what had wings,
wanted to fly,
oh bloody blackbird...
They think you did this...
but we both know...
oh bloody blackbird...
all you did was sing...
