Standing on the cliff
Toes gripping the edge
The water below churns and roars
Daring me to dive in.
Closing my eyes
I spread my arms wide
Breathing in the ocean air.
The world stills.
There is only the sound of the waves
And the feel of the gentle breeze tickling my cheek.
I take a deep breath, open my eyes
and jump.
The freedom of the fall is like nothing else
Adrenaline surges through my veins
I am an invincible, unstoppable force.
The water below waits with open arms
Welcoming me with its cool embrace
