From town to town
Suburbs to suburbs
This is my new home
New to the city
And it’s bright, shiny lights
New to the neighborhood
Where it’s always a peaceful night
Urban life
Sun shining year round
This is a new life I have found
No train-track homes
Or distant civilization
In this city
I can walk to my destination
It’s the spot to be
Always upbeat,
Always on key
After traveling from place to place
This is the home for me
