White knuckles gripping the wheel.
Holding your life and your sanity.
Little flakes of hurt,
Powerful from the wind of harsh words spinning in your chest,
Blowing straight at you,
Blinding you,
Scarring your ability to see clearly,
Making tears spring to your eyes.
The blizzard of harmful words.

This is very metaphorically true and I think we all can relate to it in some way. Good adjectives and use of metaphors. :)
